This project came to fruition because of a challenge from my favorite art professor, Anita Tucillo. Seeing my struggle with identity reflected in my friends, I drew inspiration from our experiences as we grappled with figuring out who we were and where we belonged. This project is a reflection of shifting identities, the grief of change and loss of old masks, trust and acceptance of true inner self.
